The Heritage and Hope Scholarship has been created to help families who need tuition assistance. It gives you the opportunity to make a scholarship gift that directly supports families with students in Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Our Heritage
Nearly a century ago, a group of local pastors and young people envisioned a school where learning was intertwined with faith - a nurturing place for those seeking both the high standards of achievement and the freedom to openly acknowledge God's grace.
Built on perseverance, fellowship and hope, and one thousand $25 donations, Minnehaha Academy was formed. This school was a sanctuary founded on Christ where students could grow and thrive to reach their fullest potential.
The mission is the same today.
Today's Need
More Minnehaha Academy families than ever before need student aid.
- Last year, the number of families receiving student aid increased from 19% to 24%
- $430,000 in student aid was given out above what was budgeted
- A total of $1.8 million was awarded to Minnehaha Academy students
It is anticipated this need will continue and perhaps even increase over the next few years. Many members of our community, including our Board of Education, are deeply committed to keeping Minnehaha Academy affordable, particularly to our middle-income families.
Our Hope
Our families are our strength, and maintaining access to this valuable gift of a Christian education is both our calling and our mandate. As the need for student aid becomes more pressing, the Heritage & Hope Scholarship provides an opportunity to share our blessings by helping the many hardworking families who are struggling in order to attend.
In the spirit of our founders, we ask for your help in building this scholarship fund, fulfilling the inspired dream of a school that is as strong in community as it is in faith.

I'm so grateful for the scholarship that enables my children to attend Minnehaha Academy. It has been so helpful to me and has given my children the opportunity to receive a wonderful education. Thank you so much for this gift.

Teachers and coaches have pushed me to achieve my best in all areas of life, and most importantly to me, they have pushed me to strengthen my relationship with Christ. I am entirely thankful for this scholarship because it allows me to wake up every morning and go to a school that is not only beautiful and welcoming, but one that shapes my life academically, socially and spiritually in the most fulfilling way possible.

I had the opportunity to go to a school where I received an excellent education. I give credit to the great teachers at Minnehaha Academy who cared a lot about my future and pressed me to maximize my potential. I became a teacher to provide that same opportunity and encouragement to students who through their circumstances must persevere to reach their full potential.

We were very fortunate we were able to send our children, Lauren '04 and Jordan '07 to Minnehaha where they received an education that prepared them so well for the next steps into college and beyond. We feel doubly blessed to now have the opportunity to support other families. We know our gifts to the Heritage and Hope Scholarship will have significant impact on students both academically and spiritually for the rest of their lives.
