1884
Because of their belief in the importance of quality education with Christian faith as its center, Swedish immigrants found Minnehaha Academy to prepare young people both for life and for lives of commitment and service to others.
1913 dedication at North Campus
1913
New building is dedicated at North Campus site, located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The school was a high school serving grades 9–12.
1972
Grades 7 and 8 added.
1981
South Campus purchased and the Middle School is established with the addition of grade 6.
1982
Lower School, grades 1-5, is added.
1985
Kindergarten is added.
1995
Preschool is added.
1996
Bloomington Campus is opened for kindergarten through grade 5.
2002
The new Athletic Center at North Campus is dedicated.
2003
New Chapel and Fine Arts Center are dedicated.
