Accreditation
Minnehaha Academy has been accredited by NCA (North Central Association) since 1964. Recently, the school joined NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) and a corresponding regional organization, ISACS (Independent School Association of the Central States).
As part of the NAIS and ISACS accreditation process, the school is now engaged in a 3-year self-study, which includes reaffirmation of the mission, collection of data, review by the self-study committee and production of a report, in preparation for a site visit in the fall of 2008 and follow-up recommendations by an external team.
Any questions regarding the process may be directed to steering committee chairs Elaine Ekstedt and Mackenzie Bjorklund, or members Mary Carlson (Upper School), Joy Werner (Middle School), Blake Christiansen (Lower School-South), Renae Saville-Winter (staff), Rich Enderton (technology), and Carey Erkel (administration and Lower School-Bloomington).
