What Is the Annual Fund? The Annual Fund is a major financial component is sustaining Minnehaha’s excellence. The gifts of alumni, parents, and friends support virtually every aspect of a Minnehaha education – financial aid, academic programs, athletics, the arts, and faculty and professional development. Annual Fund dollars provide necessary support where tuition dollars leave off. There is, in fact, an 8% gap between the cost of a Minnehaha education and the yearly tuition. Gifts to the Annual Fund are spent within the Academy’s operating and capital budgets.
Your support of the Annual Fund allows students at every grade level to thrive in wonderful ways. Here are four examples: A second-grade student, with poor reading skills, proudly shows teachers the results of his reading assessment tests. Third-grade level! Another student asks to take his Bible home over spring break. A shy sixth grader stars in the Middle School play. A senior becomes one of 550 national semifinalists in the Presidential Scholar competition. The 2006-2007 Annual Fund Goal is $796,600.
