Upcoming Alumni Events 2008-2009
- August 9th (Saturday) - Alumni Soccer Game at Guido Kauls Field. Men play at noon. All ages
and abilities are welcome! Call Mark Anderson '79 (612) 386-4613 with
questions.
- August 19th (Tuesday) - Alumni Cross- Country Meet at Battle Creek Park in St. Paul at 4:00pm. Contact Christian Zimmerman '94 at chermesz@yahoo.com if you are interested in running with a team.
- September 9th (Tuesday) - Legacy Breakfast in the Anderson Conference Room at 7:30 am. Join other Alumni who have chosen Minnehaha for their children as well.
- Alumni German Conversation Class with Herr Kauls
There will be a 7 week sessions always on Monday evenings. Dates TBD. If you are interested in participating, please contact Herr Kauls at Kauls001@umn.edu to sign-up for the class.
HOMECOMING
- October 2nd (Thursday) - Homecoming Chapel
10:30 am in the Hognander Chapel, North Campus.
October 3rd (Friday) Alumni
Art Show 5pm - 7pm in the Watson Art Gallery, North Campus.
October 4th (Saturday) - Homecoming!
Homecoming Brunch, Alumni Family Picnic, Redhawk Run, Alumni Picnic,
Volleyball, Soccer and Football games. Check out the Homecoming site

October 5th (Sunday) - Dedication of the South Campus Chapel. Tours and reception at 2:00pm, service at 3:30pm
- October 21st (Tuesday) - Reunion Planning Session. If you are in the class of 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004 don't miss this important planning session for your class reunion!
- November 13th (Thursday) - Class Representative Dinner and Fall Play. Dinner will served in the Campus Room and you are invited to stay for the Upper School Fall Play.
- Alumni Ski Outing at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington from 5-8pm- Date TBD
- December 20th (Saturday) - Alumni Hockey Tournament
Men play from
11:15 am - 12:30 pm and women play from 12:30-1:30pm. Lunch will be served between the
games.
- December 20th (Saturday) - Alumni Broomball Tournament- details TDB
- Young Alumni Holiday Party - TBD
- March 28th (Saturday) - 8th Annual Alumni Basketball Tournament! Resistration and warm-up at 10:00 am, games begin at 10:30 am. Free Throw and 3-Point Contests! Cost: $5
- April 4th (Saturday) - Annual Auction a
- May 16th (Saturday) - 29th Annual Minnehaha Golf Classic at Crystal Lake Golf Club in Lakeville.
- May 31st (Sunday) - Graduation - 50-year (1959) grads honored. The 1958 graduates of MA will be our honored guests at graduation 2008. Reception with President Engstrom will precede the event being held at Bethel College. RSVP by May 20th to Sue Gilbertson at 612-729-8321.
Ongoing Activities:
MAMA's Prayer Group - Every Thursday (including summer) at 1:00 pm in the Prayer Chapel at North Campus.
Friday Morning Open Gym- join faculty/staff and other alumni for a fun anf friendly basketball game Friday mornings at 7:00 am in the North Campus Athletic Center.
